ChatGraph

Privacy Policy

Last updated June 24, 2026

ChatGraph is a Chrome extension that transforms the Claude.ai conversation view into a visual, spatial canvas. This policy explains what information the extension accesses, how it's handled, and what is never collected.

What stays on your device

ChatGraph is built to keep your information local. Nothing is stored on external servers, and the extension has no backend infrastructure of any kind.

What is shared, and with whom

When you use the branching feature, ChatGraph sends the text you highlighted — along with a brief summary of its parent context — to Anthropic's API to generate a response. This is a direct connection from your browser to Anthropic, using your own key. ChatGraph does not sit between you and Anthropic, and does not see, log, or store these exchanges.

Beyond that, no information is shared with anyone. ChatGraph has no analytics, no usage tracking, no advertising, and no telemetry of any kind.

What is never collected

ChatGraph does not access or collect any of the following:

No external code

ChatGraph does not download or run any code from outside the extension. Everything the extension does is contained within the files you install.

Removing your data

Your API key can be cleared at any time through the extension's popup panel. Uninstalling the extension removes all locally saved data. The conversation canvas exists only while the page is open and is not written to disk.

Children's privacy

ChatGraph is not designed for or directed at anyone under the age of 13 and does not knowingly collect information from children.

Changes to this policy

If this policy is updated, the revised version will be posted here with a new date. Continued use of the extension after a change constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
